Dreamscape Immersive
01The challenge
One journey across every device
A guest’s path ran from the website to a phone, then to a kiosk at the venue, then into a VR pod. Every step had to feel like part of the same adventure, and nothing could slow a group down at check-in.
02Architecture
Mapping every flow first
Before any visual design, I mapped the account, dashboard, ticket sharing, check-in, and purchase flows, including the customer-service paths for when something goes wrong.
03Wireframes
Designing the kiosk check-in
Wireframes worked out the kiosk check-in step by step: scanning a ticket, checking in each member of a group, and recovering when a ticket can’t be found.
04Exploration
Two directions, then one
Early concepts explored a tablet ticket station in the studio. The first design round then took two directions, Uncharted and Discovery, across the studio tablet, mobile web, and desktop, each with a clickable InVision prototype.
05Website
A responsive booking site
The guest journey starts on the website. The homepage and adventure pages work on desktop and mobile, and each adventure page covers the story, trip details, eligibility, and accessibility before a guest buys tickets.
06Ticketing
Buying tickets on a phone
Guests pick a departure time, choose how many tickets, pay, and get a confirmation. The time picker includes sold-out, unavailable, and accessibility-ticket states.
07iPad kiosk
Checking in at the venue
At the location, the iPad kiosk takes over: scan the ticket’s QR code, check in each member of the group, and choose an avatar. Guests without tickets can buy them right at the kiosk.
08Digital ticket
A ticket that plans the trip
The digital ticket holds one QR code for the whole group’s purchase, plus everything a guest needs before arriving: boarding time, what to bring, what to wear, and what to expect.
09Outcome
Shipped
The website, ticketing, and iPad kiosk check-in all launched for Dreamscape’s guests.
