01The challenge
Six pages in four days, built to hand off
Home, About, Resources, Partners, Contact, and the Cut Red Tape landing page all had to be built and launched in four days. Just as important, the team needed to be able to edit everything themselves once I handed it off.
02Strategy
A class system instead of one-off styling
I built every page 100% in Elementor’s Atomic editor, on top of more than 80 named global classes: a type scale, colors and gradients, spacing and container widths, buttons, and motion. Editors apply a class instead of styling by hand, so new sections automatically match the rest of the site.
03Custom code
Scripts that stay out of the editor’s way
Smooth scrolling, the scroll reveal, the auto-hiding header, the mobile menu, and the carousels are custom code. The reveal and carousel scripts check whether they’re running inside the Elementor editor and step aside, so animations never hide content and nothing gets cloned while someone is editing.
04Cut Red Tape
The page that took the most attention
The landing page was the biggest build, with roughly 240 Atomic containers: an animated hero, clipped-text sections, and a video wall, all still editable through the same class system.
05Carousel & lightbox
An endless video wall
The video wall is a custom infinite carousel. It scrolls on its own, pauses on hover, and supports drag and swipe without firing accidental clicks. Each tile opens a custom lightbox that plays self-hosted, YouTube, or Vimeo video and only accepts safe URLs.
06Dynamic content
Pages that update themselves
The Resources page runs on Elementor Pro’s loop grid with a taxonomy filter and search, so new articles appear on their own. Signup forms submit to HubSpot through a custom script that honors Global Privacy Control and opt-out signals.
07Mobile
Responsive on every page
Every page adapts to tablet and phone, with a custom mobile menu and a header that hides as you scroll down and returns as you scroll up.
08Outcome
Built in four days, live today
All six pages were built within the four-day window and are live at patient.com, using components and global classes so the Patient.com team can keep editing them without breaking the design.
